Parkgate Tide Times

It takes a big tide to flood the marsh: 9.8m or more predicted at Liverpool, a handful of times a year and mostly clustered around the spring and autumn equinoxes. Above 10.0m, water can reach the sea wall on The Parade itself. Wind and atmospheric pressure modify everything: a westerly with a deep depression can turn an ordinary spring tide into the show of the season.
