New Brighton Tide Times

Every high and low tide at New Brighton over the next 7 days. Times are derived from Liverpool (Gladstone Dock) predictions with a local offset.

New Brighton sits right at the mouth of the Mersey, so its high water lands at much the same time as Liverpool (Gladstone Dock), the station these times are based on. That puts it roughly half an hour ahead of the Dee-side beaches like Hoylake and West Kirby, worth remembering if you're planning a day that takes in both coasts.

The tide matters here for different reasons than at Hilbre. There's no crossing to time, but the beach gives way to soft mud beyond the dry sand, and the Marine Lake fills and empties on the tide, so the around-high-water hours are when the promenade and lake are at their best. If you're heading onto the rocks by Fort Perch Rock or the lighthouse, check the times below first: people still get caught there as the flood comes back in.

About the data: Times are derived from Admiralty UKHO predictions for Liverpool (Gladstone Dock) with a local offset published in the Admiralty Tide Tables. Heights are pass-through Liverpool predictions and are not yet calibrated against local gauges, so treat them as indicative. Actual water levels are modified by wind direction, wind speed, and atmospheric pressure.

Safety: Do not rely on these times for safety-critical use without verifying against UKHO EasyTide. In an emergency, dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard.
